“A well for every village.”
One Thirst Project is dedicated to combating the global water crisis by providing clean water wells in rural communities across Uganda where access to clean water is almost non existent. Our mission is to offer wells which provide a safe source for water while also cheering local communities toward success. To date 25 wells have been completed serving over 20,000 Ugandans.
A ministry of Wrightsville Beach Baptist Church which partners with Ugandans to make Christ known by giving a well for every village, a home for every child, education for the next generation, sustainable food solutions, and Biblical training for rural pastors.
Through local partnerships, we have been able to launch a pastor training school aimed at equipping rural pastors and church planters. Two classes of 35 have now completed this program.
We have partner boarding schools located in Butande and Bulende, Uganda which offer education for primary school aged children as well as a home for local children awaiting adoption. We also provide scholarship support for children from the village of Buwunga and high school students from the two primary partner ministries.
