There is something for everybody:
Jubilation Choir:
Anyone can join the Jubilation choir if they have a heart to worship God through singing and are willing to be coached to be an even better worship leader. No audition is necessary for this particular group. However, you will need to attend choir practice on Wednesday nights in the choir room behind the sanctuary from 7:30 - 8:30 pm. There are extra rehearsals from time to time for special events such as Christmas, Easter, July 4th, etc...
Children's Choir:
The children meet on Wednesday nights after the evening meal from 6 pm till 6:45 pm in the large room beside the library on the right. They learn to play different musical instruments, songs to sing in church, and Biblical principles to live their lives growing in God's grace. All children kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome.
Praise Team:
The Sunday morning praise team is an auditioned group of people who have a passion to lead people in worship and point them to the Lord Jesus. All songs are usually memorized and they meet every Sunday morning at 9 am to go over the order of service and to run through all songs. Knowing how to read music is a plus but not a requirement. Your life must reflect your relationship with Jesus and you must live in such a way that you are above all reproach. Anyone can audition by contacting Glenda at the church office.
Praise Band:
This group of musicians is auditioned by Glenda or Lorene. Knowing how to read music is definitely a big plus for this group but not always required. If you are a guitar player you may do well by reading the guitar chord symbols, etc...Other instruments will do well to be familiar with their voice part for their particular instrument. Occasionally God has gifted an individual with an ear that can just about hear something and play it right away. WE WANT YOU AS WELL! So if you are looking to use your musical talent and instrument for the Lord, set up a time to audition with us.
